Does PreAI send my code anywhere?
No. Scanning runs entirely on your machine — source, secrets, and findings never leave it, on every plan. The only optional network calls are downloading the signed threat-intel feed and a lightweight license check. Neither transmits your code or results. On Enterprise, you can self-host the feed so even those stay inside your network.
Is there a free trial?
No — PreAI is a paid product and a plan is required to use it (there is no free tier or trial). Every new subscription is backed by a 14-day money-back guarantee, so you can evaluate it risk-free. You download and manage everything from your PreAI account portal.
How does the license check respect the zero-telemetry promise?
Activation verifies only your entitlement — a license key and seat count. It never reads your code, files, or findings. For air-gapped Enterprise deployments we provide offline license files, so there's no activation call at all.
How does per-seat billing work?
Pro and Team are billed per active developer; annual billing saves ~20% (about two months) versus monthly. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time. Enterprise is a custom annual contract.
Which editors and AI agents are supported?
Detection runs in VS Code and compatible editors (Cursor, Antigravity via Open VSX). Guard pre-execution blocking covers Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, and Antigravity natively, and the MCP guard gateway extends MCP-call enforcement to GitHub Copilot.
